Born in Malaysia, Jacyntha moved to Christchurch, New Zealand in 2017 with her family.
She is currently in her final year of completing a double major in Sociology and Psychology. Jacyntha has worked in multiple primary schools in Christchurch.
Her extensive knowledge in education and private sectors with a deep understanding of the challenges faced by ethnic minorities motivates her to actively identify solutions for change. Jacyntha has excellent networking skills and is experienced in the start-up ecosystem in Christchurch.
Jacyntha currently works for a digital mental health startup, and is a member of the New Zealand Association of Positive Psychology.
