  • Counsellor and mental health practitioner with a background in psychology, social services and mental health. My qualifications include a Master of Science in Psychology, a Postgraduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education, and an MBA. A current board member of an art studio supporting people experiencing mental health challenges.
  • Extensive experience supporting people who have experienced trauma, family violence, addiction, major life transitions and other challenging life circumstances. Key areas of speciality and experience include:
  • Trauma and complex life experiences – supporting people affected by trauma, family violence, difficult family histories and significant life events.
  • Couple and family relationships – working with relationship difficulties, communication, conflict, trust, changing family roles and intergenerational dynamics.
  • LGBTQ+ wellbeing – providing affirming support around identity, relationships, family, belonging and life transitions.
  • ADHD and neurodivergence – working from a neuro-affirming perspective that recognises individual strengths, needs and ways of experiencing the world.
  • Workplace stress and wellbeing – supporting people experiencing work-related stress, burnout, interpersonal difficulties, career transitions and challenges around professional identity.
  • My practice is person-centred, strengths-based and culturally responsive, drawing on a range of therapeutic approaches according to each person's needs. I incorporate expressive arts, storytelling and creative approaches where helpful.
