Tina is a clinical psychologist and clinical neuropsychologist.
She completed a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology degree at the University of Auckland in 2015.
She has worked across services in DHBs, including Adult Community Mental Health Services, Asian Mental Health Services, Mental Health Services for Older Adults, and in private practice.
Member of the New Zealand College of Clinical Psychologists.
Tina’s expertise encompasses assessments and therapy for mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, grief and bereavement, addictions, and personality disorders.
Trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Compassion-Focused Therapy, she tailors her approach to meet the specific needs of each client.
Tina has a particular interest in couple therapy and relationship difficulties, employing her training in developmental models to foster healthier connections.
Committed to Asian mental health, Tina has experience in Chinese group work and in providing cultural supervision.
She enjoys providing clinical supervision, collaborating with fellow professionals to explore insights and share her knowledge and experiences.
