Hi everyone, my name is Michelle. I am half Taiwanese and half English. I was born and raised in the UAE and moved to New Zealand in 2017. I have just finished a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Engineering Science and am working as a Data and Analytics Engineer at Air New Zealand. I also work part-time as a piano/violin teacher at a music school, write my own music, and sing with one of NZ’s national choirs.

One of my main goals is to help make the world more inclusive and supportive. I intend to do so by advocating for policies and spaces that will help alleviate the discrimination my fellow multi-ethnic peers may encounter, as well as by voicing their concerns and representing them in prevalent issues that will affect their health and wellbeing.
