The training includes suicide prevention courses for both community members and health professionals, as well as the Respond to Gambling Harm package to help identify harm early and connect people to specialist support.
The Flourishing Asian Communities & Workforce Symposium welcomed keynote speakers from academia and community research, bringing expertise in gambling harm and help-seeking, arts-based wellbeing for Asian communities, and large-scale Asian wellbeing and mental health research to help inform culturally responsive policy and practice in Aotearoa.
