Asian Family Services (AFS) is pleased to present two contributions to the Draft Suicide Prevention Action Plan 2025–2029 for public consultation. The first submission reflects the views of Asian Family Services.

The second submission is provided on behalf of the Asian Ethnic Advisory Group, an independent group facilitated by AFS. This advisory group brings together members with varied lived experiences, including individuals from rainbow communities, migrants, international students, youth, and both 1.5 and second-generation members. Representing perspectives from Chinese, Indian, Japanese, Korean, and Filipino backgrounds, group members range in age from 25 to 65, offering invaluable insights that have shaped our recommendations.
