Asian Wellbeing Services

Asian Wellbeing Services (AWS) is one of the social enterprises affiliated to Asian Family Services. It was established in 2016 by our National Director Kelly Feng, to provide professional psychological interventions and tailor-made psychoeducation and mental wellbeing workshops for clients with a range of mental health and social issues.

The team consists of psychologists, counsellors, art therapists, family therapists, social workers, and nurse practitioner. They are all New Zealand trained and registered practitioners with an Asian background, from vast training modalities and at least five years of experiences; the number of spoken languages is also well-covered with the major languages such as Mandarin, Cantonese, Malaysian, Filipino, Hindi, Korean and Japanese.

All services are culturally appropriate and multi-lingual.

Fees may vary depending on the type of service provided. (NZ$140-$300+GST)

Asian Wellbeing Services include the following:

  • General counselling
  • Psychological assessment/ report
  • Culturally appropriate EAP
  • Wellbeing workshop
  • Parenting programme/workshop
  • Clinical and cultural supervision
  • Family therapy
  • Social work
  • Drug and alcohol assessments for driver licensing purposes
